Terrorism implies the use of violence to terrorize a population or government for certain political, religious or ideological purpose. The threat of terrorism has become a worldwide concern with several parts of the world reeling under frequent terrorist strikes which hasn't stop spreading its tentacles, it is today one of the major causes of death and destruction of properties all over the world. 

The perpetrators of varying terrors are assumed to have little concern for human lives, terrorists continue to strike with impunity, leaving a trail of death and destruction, wherever they choose to inflict their blows.

 Poverty, Unemployment, Lack of education are among the factors that are causing and fuelling the growth of terrorism today .The terrorist can lure the young generations easily by providing them hoards of easy money. In return, the youngsters have to spread hatred, and indulge in bloodbath and killings on the street.

Conclusion and recommendations

 Terrorist activities have extremely adverse implications for any country it poses a deadly threat to the unity and integrity of a nation. The society, media and Governments must make it a common cause to fight the menace of terrorism in a cohesive and united spirit.. 
In curbing terrorism there is a need to address the varying causes of it which will reduce its course, and also provision/creation of distinct and varying security agencies. Good information, education and sensitization to the people at large, Good dialogue skills, sensitive and reportive  citizens, Distinctive media reportage and Top notch securities amongst many others will help  reduce terrorism rate. 
Let's all prove we are not a soft spore in fighting terrorism which is an enemy to the nation. Together we can bring it down.
